Welcome to
Resurrection Power Ministry.
Our ministry is
basically founded in the Northern part of the Volta Region of
Ghana, Kete – Krachi precisely. We are involved in
Church
Planting; we are planting a lot churches on the islands and
also on the main lands and souls are being won daily. About the
ministry, because of high level of poverty it makes the work very
difficult, when it comes to the people; their clothing, their
shelter is not encouraging at all, but despite these challenges we
are standing on His Word to a blessing to them and see the Kingdom
of God firmly established in this area as well.
Bible School:
We are also involved in Bible School called The Patmos Bible
Training Centre, where we train leaders. We have about 11 students
who are pursuing a 2 year Diploma Course.
Orphanage: We
are also making strives to begin an orphanage. And we are doing
everything possible to help orphans and deprived children stand on their feet to see the Lord’s plan fulfils in
their lives. We have acquired about 10 plots of land (property) to
begin with.
Education:
We are embarked on education besides the orphanage to help better
the lives of these rural folks, in this we give free education to
some needy but brilliant one due to our limited resources. This
school is located in Alavanyo.

PASTORS EDUCATION FUND
I.
MISSION
STATEMENT:
To raise sufficient funds to sponsor Bible
students at the diploma level from the deprived area of the Krachi/Nkwanta
district and the Volta Region at large.
II.
VISION:
-
It
is expected that fifteen Pastors will be trained from the
deprived area by the next ten years.

It is anticipated that they shall be fully sponsored.
-
It
is anticipated that their lives will make impart on the society
positively.

It
is anticipated that will graduate and evangelize the Volta
Region and beyond as the Lord will lead them.
III.
OBJECTIVES:
To find ten faithful
and committed members who will be willing to contribute a regular
amount decided by the fund throughout the year to ensure
sustainability and continuity of the project.

To
appeal to twenty faithful and committed members, and non-members
of the AOG Ghana who will be willing to contribute regularly to
the fund.

To
organize these funds throughout the year as long as the fund
fulfill its mission.

To
train and equip the members of the fund to ensure
sustainability.

To
solicit funds from non-members to help increase our base of
operation.

To
solicit funds from other vision minded groups and churches.
-
To save fund into profit making ventures to enable the fund
grow.
CONCLUSION:
This strategic plan is possible
and with God on our side we will see it materialized. At the end
of it all God’s name will be glorified, the church will be
fulfilling, all stakeholders will be happy and more plans will
follow afterwards.
Prison
ministry: Coupled with these, we have Prison ministry as well.
In Krachi there is a prison built in 1957, is now a live
imprisonment centre where the condemned are being put to die. We
reach them weekly with the Word and human basic needs of life,
such as clothing, soap, foods, and other logistics that makes
their lives better. They are truly coming to the Lord, and we
believe the Lord to touch the hearts of the state authorities one
day to reconsider their life sentence and would have compassion on
them to release them.
Geographical
Location: Krachi has been a well organized and developed town
till 1962 when the Volta lake submerged the whole town, that made
Krachi to be found in a peninsula where traveling is only by lake
transport. Basically is a vast peninsula made up of a lot town and
villages, very deprived villages where many cannot afford a day’s
meal. Besides that, there are other islands where they feed from
Krachi community. The Denteh Island only is made up of 160, and
the other island is Nkomi Island these are vast places made up
of fishermen and poor peasant farmers.
Religion:
They are idol worshipper in most part, and also there are some
large numbers of Muslims in the area who try to stop the gospel
and have built mosques all over the places.
